Summary
Included here are the species of genera endemic to Australia. These comprise about 4015 species in 675 genera and 110 families. For endemic species of genera not endemic to Australia see Australian Non-Generic Endemics.
The total number of species of endemic and non-endemic genera is about 7802 and these comprise 1469 genera in 211 families.
Thirteen of these families are endemic: Anarthriaceae, Aphanopetalaceae, Austrobaileyaceae Blandfordiaceae, Boryaceae, Byblidaceae Cephalotaceae, Dasypogonaceae, Doryanthaceae, Ecdeiocoleaceae, Emblingiaceae, Gyrostemonaceae and Petermanniaceae.
