Included here is sub-antarctic Chile and a series of associated islands including the Falkland Islands, South Georgia Islands, South Sandwich Islands, South Orkney Islands and South Shetland Islands.

Falkland Islands Aquatic Formations

The islands freshwater formations can be divided into Eleocharis melanostachys associations and Myriophyllum elatinoides associations. An important component of both these communities is the Falkland endemic Lilaeopsis macloviana (Apiaceae).
